I like to describe my approach to wedding photography as documentary with an editorial flare. About 80% of the day I am capturing your day as it naturally unfolds in a beautiful way. The other 20% I love to prompt you or direct you to create romantic images that have intention and feeling.
Sometimes portraits will feel romantic and editorial and other times they will feel playful and fun. It fully depends on your personal relationship. I love to tell your story as authentically as I can.

I use a mixture of analog film and digital cameras to capture your day. Analog because.. well.. it has traits that digital simply doesn't have. And digital to make sure that everything is captured and that you get the most amount of photos back. The digital images will be edited to look like the film :)

Hi future newlyweds! I'm Jarrod, a wedding photographer capturing love stories in Denver and across the country. I travel full-time shooting weddings, living in a bad ass sprinter van with my wife, Taylor, and our pup, Bowie.
My photography journey began over ten years ago in a darkroom, and I've dedicated my life to creating images that are as unique as the couples I work with. I use my skills as a film photographer to create images that stand out from the cookie-cutter sh*t you always see.
