FILM PHOTOGRAPHY
Jarrod’s first film camera was bought off of Craigslist for a college class, and it was in the darkroom that he fell in love with the slow, intentional process of developing images. We began shooting together for said class and have continued to do so over the last 12 years. What we love most about film is the intention behind every frame. Aside from the grain and rich colors, the limited number of shots and the possibility of happy accidents like light leaks, each image carries a weight and authenticity you can’t replicate. Film feels alive, imperfect in the most beautiful way, and that’s what continues to draw us to it year after year.
